“Renowned Toledo-born golfer Stacy Lewis paid a visit to area children's hospitals Monday morning, taking time to talk to patients and share her story.
Ms. Lewis, 39, has achieved a remarkably successful career in women’s professional golf. Formerly a top-ranked player in the world with two major championships under her belt, she was named captain for the U.S. Solheim Cup team for the second year in a row.
Joining her Monday were her 5-year-old daughter, Chesnee Chadwell, and 16-year-old Mia Hammond, an up-and-coming junior golfer from New Albany, Ohio.”
