Marcelo hails from the emerging golf region of Colombia and exhibits unmatched passion on the golf course. His time on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica and Korn Ferry Tour have prepared Marcelo for a full season on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2024.
Marcelo’s career highlights include eight professional wins including the PGA TOUR LA’s 2018 JSHF Brazil Open, 2014 TransAmerican Power Products CRV Open and 2013 Visa Open Argentina,, along with two Colombian Tour wins and a second-place finish at the Korn Ferry Tour’s 2019 Evans Scholars Invitational.
Off the course, Marcelo is a dedicated husband and father to his wife, Manuela, and son, Lorenzo. He loves to cook, travel, and spend time with his family at their home in Miami, Florida.
