Bio:
Loren’s golf career began as an assistant pro at San Luis Obispo CC and Morro Bay Municipal. He later turned professional in 1975. One of the key traits that allowed Loren to be so successful was his beautiful tempo and incredible touch on the greens. In fact, his putting prowess was so good that he was given the nickname, “Boss of the Moss” by fellow Tour member, David Ogrin. His success on the PGA and Champions Tours has yielded a total of 21 victories including four majors on the latter.
In addition to his unbelievable skill at the game of golf, Loren is a true man of character both on and off the course. He is a devoted Christian and an avid supporter of many charitable causes including the military and youth golf development. He is heavily involved with the First Tee of Memphis and truly loves giving back to the game that has been such an important part of his life.
