Bio:
Ana Belac’s journey to professional golf did not follow the typical course. As a young girl growing up in Slovenia, Ana had an innate love for athletics, and a propensity for golf. As the closest course was over 45 minutes away, with only nine modest holes, Ana found additional ways to be active in her home country. In addition to golf, she discovered her aptitude for competitive alpine skiing, and spent her childhood dreaming of one day becoming a professional athlete.
As the top female junior golfer in Slovenia, Ana left for the United States to pursue collegiate golf at Duke University. During her time there, she led her team to their seventh NCAA Championship in school history, and established herself as one of the top amateur golfers in the world. All the while, her behind-the-scenes dedication to weightlifting has also contributed to the successful multi-sport athlete she is today.
As a rookie on the Epson Tour in 2020, Ana was named Player of the Year after finishing first on the Money List. Her determination and perseverance through obstacles will surely assist her as she seeks to claim her place amongst the world’s best in professional golf.
